FALSE PROPHETS AMONG YOU
False prophets have always been there;
These are hardened people, without a care.
They creep in among the Lord’s good people;
They appear to be godly, but are in fact, evil!
They bring in teachings that appear to be good and right;
Their teachings must be examined under the Light.
They will bring in heresies that deny the Lord;
They will promote a false faith in the name of God!
Sadly, they will appeal to many, for these are weak;
The false prophets prey on those who are tired and sick.
They make empty promises that offer wealth and power;
The Evil One constantly stalks those whom he may devour.
The challenge is to take heed to the Lord’s warning;
There must be no letting down our guard at every turning.
In being forewarned, let us also be fully forearmed;
Let us grow even stronger that we need not be alarmed!
