THE DAY OF THE LORD
The Scriptures foretell the Day of God;
We need not fear this Day of the Lord.
It is a day we can look forward to;
If our lives are righteous and true.
The Lord has given us tasks to perform;
To His commands, we must conform.
We have a glorious gospel to share;
Many do not know of God’s love and care.
The Day of God has been determined already;
But this Day will not be disclosed to humanity.
We must be committed to fulfilling our divine tasks;
God’s grace and strength will help us to be steadfast.
Let us seek to strengthen our faith in every way;
The Lord will be there for us as our mainstay.
The Day of God must bring a sense of renewal in us;
May we be challenged to live in true righteousness!
