A MOTHER’S WORTH IS FAR BEYOND RUBIES
A Mother’s Day Poem
One of God’s great gifts to mankind is motherhood;
Right from the start, a mother’s role is understood.
She will care for the family and the children untiringly;
From morning to late at night she will work unfailingly.
She will love the children when good times come;
She will continue to love them till life is done.
There is no hesitation if there is a need to sacrifice;
The children turn to her naturally for her advice.
In times of illness when great anxiety is felt deeply;
She will seek the Lord’s grace in prayer incessantly.
She will not cease till the Lord has granted His grace;
From daybreak to sunset she will seek the Lord’s face.
The worth of a good and godly mother is far above rubies;
The worth of such a mother will only be known in eternity.
Thank God, dear children, as you gaze upon your mother’s face;
There is no greater beauty than one who is blessed with God’s grace.
