That You May Believe Me
Do we struggle to help people believe in God?
Dare we confess we struggle with faith in the Lord?
The Lord sought to help His people to truly believe,
And till this problem is resolved, there will be no relief.
The way to a strong faith lies in our knowledge of God,
We need to deepen our relationship with the Lord.
Where there is little knowledge of the Most High,
We will not be able to believe that He is truly nigh.
Knowledge and faith in God are closely related,
We need to have both heart and mind persuaded.
The mind must be sure that there is a great God,
The heart must find delight and joy in the Lord.
But where doubts remain and fears take charge,
There will be no certainty felt deep in the heart.
Our efforts to be faithful witnesses of God will fail,
Faith in God must be strong; witnessing can prevail.
